In this session, we will work with Oracle Machine Learning for Python (OML4Py) Spatial AI on Autonomous Database Serverless (ADB-S) to improve predictions about electric vehicle adoption. We will load and prepare data on electric vehicle registrations in California, then build models using spatial machine learning algorithms. These algorithms incorporate location-based effects, enhancing traditional machine learning with more reliable predictions.

OML4Py Spatial AI provides specialized machine learning algorithms that account for location-based influences. Using spatial algorithms can improve model quality and prediction accuracy. For example, spatial regression algorithms can enhance home value predictions by considering the influence of nearby properties. Spatial algorithms can also identify location-based patterns, such as clusters of traffic accidents. As part of OML4Py on Autonomous Database Serverless, Spatial AI enables seamless spatial ML workflows, reducing data movement to external ML engines, simplifying architecture, and accelerating time to value.
