Charles Kim is an Oracle ACE Director, VMware vExpert, Oracle Certified DBA, and certified in Exadata, Oracle Linux, Oracle Cloud, and RAC. He joined the Oracle ACE Program in 2008 and became an Oracle ACE Director in 2009. Kim also became a VMware vExpert in 2013.
He specializes in cloud, Exadata, RAC, and virtualization (VMware, KVM, and Oracle VM) and has co-authored 10 books on the Oracle ecosystem, including Oracle Cloud Pocket Reference Guide and Exadata Expert Handbook.
Kim is the founder and CEO of Viscosity North America, a consulting firm focused on Oracle Engineered Systems, RAC, Oracle Cloud, and performance tuning. With over 30 years of experience, he regularly presents at Oracle conferences worldwide on topics like database consolidations, performance tuning, and high availability.
