About me
Kai Yu is an independent principal consultant with over 30 years of experience in the tech industry, specializing in Oracle Database, Oracle Applications, Cloud, and AI and machine learning. He previously served as a Distinguished Engineer at Dell Technologies, leading Oracle Database solutions engineering for more than 24 years.
A frequent speaker, Kai has delivered over 250 presentations at global Oracle and IT conferences, including UKOUG. He co-authored two Apress books: Expert Oracle RAC 12c and Machine Learning for Oracle Database Professionals. Kai has received the OAUG Innovator of the Year award and the Oracle Excellence Award: Technologist of the Year: Cloud Architect by Oracle Magazine. He has been an Oracle ACE Director since 2010.
