About me
Roy Salazar is a senior IT professional with experience working with Oracle products and technology since 1998. He spent the first six years as a consultant developer and systems analyst, followed by more than 18 years as a DBA and database consultant, working with Oracle versions from 8i to 23ai. He has also taken on non-technical roles such as delivery lead and acting team manager. Roy joined the Oracle ACE Program / Groundbreakers eight years ago and is currently an Oracle ACE Pro.
Passionate about cybersecurity and data protection, Roy has developed expertise in Oracle Database Security. He is also an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect.
